Rod: Assassin – Duel XT 8M Spinning Rod

The Duel XT 8M is an 8-foot medium-power spinning rod built for the demands of lure casting and retrieval. Its length delivers the casting distance needed to cover ground, while the medium action loads smoothly to launch a variety of lure weights. The blank is designed to transmit bite detection clearly, keeping you connected to your presentation throughout the retrieve.

Reel: Daiwa – 26 FREAMS LT6000D-H

The 2026 Daiwa FREAMS LT6000D-H is a large-format spinning reel built on Daiwa’s Light and Tough platform delivering serious capacity without unnecessary weight. The D-H designation means a deep spool paired with a high-speed gear ratio, allowing fast line pickup to keep pace with aggressive retrieves and burn lures back quickly. It’s a workhorse reel suited for bigger presentations and open water spin fishing.

Line: XBRAID – UPGRADE X8 PENTAGRAM
