Rod: Assassin – Duel XT 7M Spinning Rod

The Assassin Duel XT 7M is a medium-power spinning rod built for versatility across a wide range of general fishing applications. At 7 feet, it delivers the reach needed for longer casts while maintaining sensitivity for detecting strikes. Its XT blank construction provides a solid backbone with a responsive tip, handling everything from light presentations to heavier rigs with ease.

Reel: Daiwa – 23 LEGALIS LT3000-CXH

The Daiwa 23 LEGALIS LT3000-CXH is built on Daiwa’s LT (Light & Tough) platform, delivering a lightweight yet durable frame that reduces fatigue on long sessions. The CXH designation means an extra-high gear ratio for fast line retrieval, helping you stay efficient and responsive. It’s a reel that punches well above its price point in terms of smoothness and build quality.

Line: Atomic – Linez Braid 8X Multi Colour

Atomic Linez Braid 8X is an 8-strand braided line offering excellent roundness, castability, and strength for its diameter. The multi-colour coding gives you instant depth and distance awareness a practical advantage when covering water. Braid’s low stretch maximises sensitivity through the Duel XT blank, ensuring you feel every bite with clarity.

Together, these three components form a balanced, high-performance general fishing combo suited to anglers who want quality gear without compromise. Add to cart and hit the water ready.
