Rod: Assassin – Infinity 72H Softbait Rod

The Infinity 72H is a 7’2″ heavy-rated softbait rod designed to handle the demands of working soft plastics and jig heads in coastal and inshore environments. Its fast action blank delivers exceptional sensitivity to detect subtle takes while providing the backbone needed to drive hooks and control fish. A reliable, purpose-specific tool for serious softbait anglers.

Reel: Shimano – VANFORD 2500HG

The Shimano Vanford 2500HG brings ultra-lightweight construction via Shimano’s HAGANE Body and CI4+ frame, reducing fatigue during long sessions. The High Gear ratio delivers fast line retrieve, keeping your softbait working efficiently through the water column. Smooth, reliable drag performance and MicroModule Gear II technology make it a premium match for precision softbaiting.

Line: Atomic – Linez Braid 8X Multi Colour

Atomic Linez 8X Multi Colour braid delivers the zero-stretch performance essential for detecting soft takes when softbaiting. The 8-carrier construction provides a round, smooth profile that flows freely through guides and casts with minimal friction. Multi-colour metering lets you track depth and distance with precision a real advantage when working soft plastics at specific zones in the water column.

This combo is dialled in for anglers who want a complete, high-performance softbaiting setup without the guesswork. Add it to your cart and hit the water ready to fish.
