This ready-to-fish softbaiting combo pairs the Assassin Allure Spin 7MH with the Shimano 26 NASCI C3000HG and XBRAID UPGRADE X8 PENTAGRAM braid everything you need to cast and work soft plastic lures with confidence and precision.

Rod: Assassin – Allure Spin 7MH 2pc Spinning Rod

The Assassin Allure Spin is a 7-foot, medium-heavy 2-piece spinning rod purpose-built for softbaiting applications. Its MH power rating delivers enough backbone to drive hooks home while still providing the sensitivity needed to detect subtle takes through a soft plastic. The 2-piece design makes it transport-friendly without compromising action or performance on the water.

Reel: Shimano – 26 NASCI C3000HG

The 2026 Shimano NASCI C3000HG brings proven Shimano engineering to an accessible price point. The HG (High Gear) retrieve ratio lets you quickly take up slack and control lure speed critical when working soft plastics through the strike zone. The C3000 size is a natural match for a 7MH rod, offering the right balance of line capacity and compact weight.

Line: XBRAID – UPGRADE X8 PENTAGRAM

XBRAID UPGRADE X8 PENTAGRAM is an 8-carrier braided line engineered for superior roundness, smoothness, and casting distance. The tight X8 construction delivers exceptional sensitivity and near-zero stretch both essential for feeling soft plastic lures and detecting light bites at range. Its strong PE braid construction pairs cleanly with the NASCI’s spool and guides.

Three components, one cohesive softbaiting setup. Ideal for anglers targeting inshore species on soft plastics grab this combo and hit the water ready to fish.
