This ready-to-fish softbaiting combo pairs the Assassin Edge II 7′ Heavy rod with the Daiwa 24 Revros LT3000D-C reel and Atomic Linez Braid 8X Multi Colour giving you a balanced, purpose-built setup designed to work soft plastics with confidence and control.

Rod: Assassin – Edge II 7′ Heavy

The Assassin Edge II in 7′ Heavy delivers the backbone needed to drive jig heads deep and feel every subtle tick through the retrieve. The heavy power rating handles weighted rigs and bigger species without sacrificing the sensitivity that makes softbaiting effective. At 7 feet, it provides excellent casting range from the shore or boat.

Reel: Daiwa – 24 REVROS LT3000D-C

The 24 Revros LT3000D-C sits in Daiwa’s Light & Tough platform, keeping weight low without compromising durability. The 3000D-C size is a sweet spot for softbaiting enough line capacity for deeper drops while remaining compact enough for all-day comfort. Smooth drag and reliable retrieve performance make it a dependable workhorse on the water.

Line: Atomic – Linez Braid 8X Multi Colour

Atomic Linez Braid 8X is an 8-carrier construction delivering a round, smooth profile that flows cleanly through the guides. The multi-colour coding gives you built-in depth reference a genuine advantage when counting down jig heads to the strike zone. Zero stretch braid transmits every bump and nudge directly to your hand, keeping you in contact with the lure.
