This ready-to-fish softbaiting combo pairs the Assassin Allure Spin 7M rod, Daiwa 23 Legalis LT3000D-C reel, and XBRAID Upgrade X8 Pentagram line into one cohesive setup built for casting and working soft plastic lures with precision and confidence.

Rod: Assassin – Allure Spin 7M Softbait Rod

The Assassin Allure Spin is a 7-foot medium-action spinning rod purpose-built for softbait techniques. Its responsive blank loads efficiently on the cast while maintaining the tip sensitivity needed to detect subtle takes through soft plastic presentations. The moderate-fast action gives anglers control over lure movement and hook-set timing exactly what softbaiting demands.

Reel: Daiwa – 23 LEGALIS LT3000D-C

The 23 Legalis LT3000D-C is built on Daiwa’s LT (Light & Tough) platform, delivering a lightweight yet durable body that reduces fatigue over long casting sessions. The 3000D-C sizing strikes the ideal balance for softbaiting large enough for solid line capacity, compact enough for responsive lure manipulation. Smooth drag and reliable retrieve make it a strong performer at its price point.

Line: XBRAID – UPGRADE X8 PENTAGRAM

The XBRAID Upgrade X8 Pentagram is an 8-carrier braided PE line constructed with a pentagram weave pattern for exceptional roundness, smoothness, and casting distance. High sensitivity with near-zero stretch ensures every twitch and jig motion transfers directly to the lure critical for working soft plastics effectively. Its slick surface also reduces guide wear and optimises performance through the Allure Spin’s guides.

Together, these three components form a balanced, technique-specific softbaiting outfit suited to anglers who want a reliable, performance-ready setup straight out of the box. Add to cart and hit the water ready.
