One rod. Endless possibilities.

The 88 CHAIN is Yamaga Blanks answer to anglers looking for a truly versatile rod that can handle a wide range of techniques, target species, and environments all without compromising on feel or power. At 8’8″, it delivers impressive casting distance and lure control, while still feeling light and balanced in hand.

Built to fish everything from softbaits and metal jigs to sinking minnows and squid jigs, the 88 CHAIN can comfortably throw lures up to 40g making it ideal for chasing snapper, kahawai, trevally, kingfish (up to ~5kg), and even large squid. Whether you’re fishing off the rocks, on the beach, or casting into estuary channels and river mouths, this rod adapts to whatever you throw at it.

The responsive blank offers excellent hook-setting power and control over tough fish, while maintaining enough finesse for lighter presentations. If you want one rod to explore everything your local coastline has to offer this is it.
