The Ultegra FD spinning reel delivers reliable performance with powerful winding and durable CoreSolid construction, incorporating flagship Shimano technologies at an accessible price. The redesigned internal structure of Ultegra FD features InfinityXross technology, which extends the cold-pressed HAGANE gear tooth surface, distributing force load over a wider area to prevent stress points and reduce wear, enhancing the reel’s longevity. InfinityDrive technology offers smooth, effortless winding- even under heavy load by reducing friction between the spool shaft and pinion gear for improved efficiency.

The flexible polymer Anti-Twist Fin ensures even line lay on the spool and minimizes the occurrence of wind knots. For anglers who fish in both fresh and saltwater, the Ultegra FD features Shimano’s X-Protect technology, which aids in preventing water from entering internal structures and helps reduce the risk of corrosion. With a blend of innovative features and lasting durability, the Ultegra FD is a dependable, performance-forward choice for all anglers at an exceptional value.
