Designed for distance built to battle giants

The OceanRidge LongCast GT 82 Nano is built for one purpose: to outcast every rod on the boat. Whether you’re facing headwinds, casting from the bow, or need to reach distant boil-ups, this rod gives you the range, accuracy, and control to get your lure in the zone.

With a refined Nano blank developed using Torays NANOALLOY technology, the GT 82 combines long-casting performance with impressive responsiveness and feel. It transmits the subtlest changes in current and lure behavior, keeping you connected and in control from cast to strike.

Despite its power and length, it remains surprisingly light and well-balanced making it easy to work both large cup-faced poppers and diving stickbaits across long retrieves. Backed by a strong butt section and a smooth parabolic action, it has the muscle to turn and lift big GTs when the fight starts close to structure.
