The ultimate weapon for oversized poppers and brutal conditions

The OceanRidge FINAL SPIRIT GT 78 is the most powerful GT rod Ripple Fisher has ever built engineered for extreme topwater fishing with massive poppers and oversized stickbaits when conditions are unforgiving and the fish are next-level.

Designed with a stiff, fast-recovering tip and mid-section, the GT 78 excels at short, punchy pops with large-mouthed cup-faced lures and gives you precise control over 300mm-class pencils ideal when GTs are locked in on big bait profiles. The blank is brutally strong yet responsive, unleashing immense repulsive force when loaded deep, letting experienced anglers turn fish even in heavy current and rugged reef terrain.

This is not a rod you use everyday. Its the rod you pull out when everythings on the line high drag, big lures, boiling fish, and no room for error. Best suited for anglers with solid experience and physical strength (80kg+ recommended), the GT 78 is a specialised tool for specialised missions.
