Long-distance accuracy. Heavy-class power. Smooth control.

Designed for long-range casting and heavy tuna work, the Big Tuna 86 JAPAN Special strikes the perfect balance between castability and fight control. Its 8’6″ length offers exceptional distance and accuracyideal when tuna are crashing bait far from the boat. A slightly softer tip section helps load the blank easily, allowing you to cast even mid-sized stickbaits and poppers when the baitfish are small but the tuna arent.

Once hooked up, the 86s pivot point sits closer to the anglers body, allowing for a more efficient fight with less fatigueespecially when using higher drag settings. Its built for PE 812 tackle and confidently handles southern bluefin or yellowfin in the 50100kg class.
