Like the rest of the Kershaw Starter series, the Filter has an automotive-related name and offers a machined look and smooth function. The all-steel design really shows off the BlackWash finish we put on both blade and handle. BlackWash gives the knife for a unique “well worn” look, yet the finish isnt just for looks. It provides an extra measure of protection for the steel and helps hide any additional scratches you might put on your knife during normal use.A streamlined look at a very streamlined price4Cr14 blade steel with black-oxide BlackWash coating for added blade protectionStainless steel handle, smoothed and contoured for a comfortable gripFast, easy one-handed opening with SpeedSafe assisted opening and flipperFeaturesUseEveryday, WorkTypeAssisted, FolderStylePocketknifeDesignerKershaw OriginalsBlade StyleDrop PointBlade EdgePlainOpening ActionAssisted SpeedSafeOpens WithFlipper, Thumb studLock TypeFrame lockPocketclipSingle-position deep-carry (right, tip-down)Handle ColorBlackWashHardwareSteel tube spacerSheathCountry of OriginUSA: Design, Prototype, Quality Control.
