The Hogy Charter Grade Popper is a compact, easy-to-work topwater lure designed to deliver a consistent pop and sputter action with minimal rod effort. Built for inshore applications, this popper is tuned to perform well on light to medium tackle while maintaining control and balance during repeated casts and retrieves.

Available in 3/4 oz and 1.5 oz sizes, the Charter Grade Popper casts efficiently and sits correctly on the surface, allowing anglers to create clean surface disturbance without overpowering the presentation. Multiple internal rattle chambers add subtle sound and vibration, supporting visibility when fish are feeding near the surface or tracking baits from a distance.

This popper is commonly used when targeting striped bass, bluefish, small tuna, snook, and smaller tarpon, particularly in shallow water, around structure, or during surface feeding activity. Finished in a limited selection of imitative color patterns, the Charter Grade Popper focuses on practical presentation rather than excessive flash.
