The Hogy Charter Grade Micro Chug Popper is a compact, high-floating topwater lure designed for microbait conditions and high-pressure surface feeds. Its small profile and controlled surface action make it well suited for situations where fish are keyed on small forage and require a subtle presentation.

Built with a balanced hard plastic body, the Micro Chug floats high and responds quickly to light rod input. The forward-facing cup produces a clean, deliberate pop with minimal splash, allowing anglers to maintain surface presence without excessive disturbance. This controlled action is effective in calm water, slick conditions, and areas where fish are selective or pressured.

Rigged with a single VMC belly treble hook and trailing flag, the lure maintains stability during retrieve while remaining in the strike zone longer. The Micro Chug Popper is sized to match silversides, bay anchovies, juvenile baitfish, and small squid, making it a practical choice for false albacore, bonito, and other fast-moving pelagic species feeding on small forage.
