FUDO Hooks Super Ocean Tuna Ringed Eye Hooks are heavy-duty J hooks designed for trolling and bait fishing for large offshore gamefish. Their traditional J-hook profile provides a more open throat and increased grasp compared with a Southern Tuna-style hook, making them a versatile choice for a variety of big-game fishing and rigging applications.

Each Super Ocean Tuna Hook is constructed from premium Japanese stainless steel and hand-formed and sharpened by skilled craftsmen in Japan. FUDO’s Super Ocean designation represents an extra-strong construction that uses the heavier wire of the next larger hook size, followed by a proprietary heat treatment designed to further enhance strength.

The ringed eye provides additional rigging versatility and allows greater freedom of movement at the connection. Each hook also undergoes a passivation treatment for increased corrosion resistance and durability in demanding saltwater environments. Made in Japan, the Super Ocean Tuna Ringed Eye Hook combines premium materials, specialized construction, and traditional craftsmanship for serious offshore fishing.
