The Daiwa 2026 BG LT is a redesigned, budget-friendly spinning reel that updates a highly reliable workhorse platform for inshore and light-surf fishing. It features a solid aluminum frame and body cover that maintains structural rigidity under heavy loads, ensuring the gears stay aligned when fighting large gamefish. By incorporating a lighter rotor and a solid wire bail, the design eliminates rotational vibration for a smoother, faster retrieve, while the upgraded internal gearing provides increased cranking power.

Features:

• Solid Aluminum Frame: Rigid metal housing prevents body flexing and maintains internal gear alignment under heavy pressure.
• Airdrive Rotor and Bail: Lightwieght, balanced construction eliminates rotational wobble and gives the angler immediate retrieve control
• Tough Digigear: Strengthened internal gearing delivers smoother operation and more powerful cranking torque.
• Braid-Ready Spool: Features a built-in rubber gasket that secures braided line directly to the spool without requiring backing.
• Direct-Drive Handle: A screw-in handle design creates a solid, play-free connection directly to the main gear for maximum energy transfer.
