This combo delivers everything you need for rhythmic slow-pitch jigging the parabolic rod action, smooth high-capacity reel, and sensitive braid to feel every flutter-fall. Purpose-matched components, zero compromises.

Rod: Assassin – Jigmaster II Slow 6H-S Spinning Rod

The Jigmaster II Slow 6H-S is engineered with a parabolic slow-pitch taper that loads and releases energy during each lift cycle, sending centre-weighted jigs into a natural flutter-fall. The Heavy-Slow (6H-S) power rating handles serious deepwater species without killing the rod’s essential flex. This is a true slow-pitch blank not a general jigging rod pressed into service.

Reel: Daiwa – 26 FREAMS LT6000D-H

The 2026 FREAMS LT6000D-H brings Daiwa’s Light & Tough construction strong, lightweight frame with a large-diameter spool suited to holding substantial braid capacity for deepwater drifts. The high-gear ratio (H) retrieves line efficiently between jig strokes, keeping your cadence sharp. Daiwa’s ZAION V rotor and ATD drag system provide smooth, consistent pressure on hard-running bottom fish.

Line: XBRAID – UPGRADE X8 PENTAGRAM

XBRAID UPGRADE X8 PENTAGRAM is an 8-carrier PE braid built around a Pentagram cross-section for exceptional roundness, smoothness through guides, and high knot strength. Near-zero stretch transmits every rod pulse directly to the jig and telegraphs subtle bottom structure and strikes back to the angler. Its tight weave resists cutting on reef edges critical when slow-pitching deep structure.

Together, these three components form a cohesive slow-pitch jigging system built for anglers serious about technique. Add to cart and hit the deep marks with confidence.
