The Daiwa 25 Emeraldas Air LT2500S-DH is a premium, ultra-lightweight dedicated eging (squid fishing) reel designed for exceptional sensitivity and balance. In New Zealand, this reel is the ultimate weapon for chasing broad squid from the rocks or wharves, where precision and bite detection are crucial. Its double-handle design prevents the reel from rotating on its own after jerking the squid jig, allowing anglers to perfectly track their line and detect the faintest strikes from wary squid.

• ZAION Monocoque Body Offers an incredibly rigid yet feather-light frame, maintaining gear alignment and reducing fatigue during long eging sessions.
• Dual Handle Design Provides superior balance and prevents unwanted handle rotation during pauses, ensuring precise line control when squid are watching the jig.
• Airdrive Design Reduces winding resistance and rotor inertia, giving you instant responsiveness when working your egi and striking at subtle bites.
• Tough Digigear Delivers silky smooth, powerful cranking power that withstands the constant jerking motion required for eging.
• ATD Drag System Provides a smooth initial drag payout that protects the delicate tentacles of hooked squid, reducing the chance of pulled hooks.
