Built specifically for casting stickbaits and poppers at large pelagics, this combo pairs the Samurai X-Tracta StickBait rod with the Daiwa 24 Certate SW 6000-H and XBRAID FULLDRAG X8 a complete, ready-to-fish topwater system for kingfish and tuna.

Rod: Samurai – X-Tracta StickBait 7’6 PE 2 – 4

The X-Tracta StickBait is purpose-built for working surface lures at distance. At 7’6″ with a PE 24 rating, it provides the length to launch big stickbaits and poppers while retaining the tip sensitivity needed to walk lures with precision. The progressive blank loads efficiently for long casts and absorbs the head-shaking runs of hard-fighting pelagics.

Reel: Daiwa – 24 CERTATE SW 6000-H

The 24 Certate SW 6000-H brings Daiwa’s latest saltwater engineering to the fight. Built on a rigid ZAION V body with Monocoque construction, it delivers a smooth, powerful retrieve backed by serious drag performance essential when kingfish and tuna make their initial runs. The high-speed H retrieve ratio keeps pace with fast surface lure work.

Line: XBRAID – FULLDRAG X8 GP-D

The FULLDRAG X8 GP-D is an 8-carrier braid engineered for demanding pelagic applications. Its tight construction resists water absorption and cuts through wind for improved casting performance, while near-zero stretch ensures every rod twitch translates directly into lure action. High abrasion resistance keeps the line intact when fish run through structure.

Together, these three components form a balanced, high-performance topwater outfit ready for serious offshore and inshore pelagic fishing. Ideal for anglers targeting kingfish and tuna on surface lures grab this combo and get after them.
