The Daiwa 24 Certate SW 5000-H is an absolute powerhouse, precision-engineered with an aluminium Monocoque (MQ) body for rigid, unyielding performance in harsh saltwater environments. Perfect for the demanding New Zealand offshore scene, this 5000-size reel offers the ultimate crossover capability for wrestling heavy-duty Snapper from the deep or taming aggressive Kingfish around the wash. Daiwa’s revolutionary Airdrive Design reduces weight while enhancing rotational smoothness, giving you the edge when applying serious drag pressure.

• Aluminium Monocoque Body A one-piece frame that eliminates flex and twist under load while improving weather sealing.
• Airdrive Design Reduces the weight of the rotor and bail for unparalleled rotational smoothness and responsiveness.
• G1 Duralumin Drive Gear An oversized, heavy-duty gear housed within the MQ body for maximum winding power and durability.
• ATD Drag System Provides 15kg of exceptionally smooth stopping power, reducing start-up inertia to protect lighter setups.
• Magsealed Body Ultimate protection from saltwater intrusion, using a magnetised oil seal on the main shaft to maintain long-lasting performance.
• Crossover Versatility The 5000-H size hits the sweet spot for tossing lures or dropping heavy baits to trophy NZ pelagics and reef dwellers.
