The Black Magic Rainbow Rocker is a straight-running pusher-style trolling lure designed for versatile placement throughout an offshore spread. While it can be run from multiple positions, the Long Rigger and Shotgun positions are recommended for presenting the lure farther behind the boat.

Its distinctive color combination features a black oily overskirt with a red lateral line paired with a high-intensity UV rainbow underskirt. This layered skirt pattern provides a combination of contrast, flash, and UV visibility for offshore trolling across a variety of light and water conditions.

The Rainbow Rocker is designed to perform at trolling speeds between 6 and 9 knots. Black Magic recommends pairing the lure with a 9/0 hook and 300 lb leader, providing anglers with a straightforward starting point when rigging it for tuna, marlin, and other offshore pelagic species.
