The Daiwa 25 Caldia FC LT1000S represents the pinnacle of finesse custom spinning reel performance for New Zealand’s ultra-light fishing enthusiasts. Built around a rigid Zaion V Monocoque (MQ) body and featuring Daiwa’s innovative Air Drive Design, it delivers unparalleled lightness and precise lure control. Whether you are flicking micro soft plastics for Jack mackerel/Aji in the harbours or stalking spooky backcountry trout, this reel offers incredibly smooth rotation and reliable stopping power.

• Zaion V MQ Body A one-piece monocoque frame that maximizes internal space for larger gears while keeping the reel remarkably lightweight and rigid.
• Air Drive Design Optimises the rotor, bail, and spool to drastically reduce rotational inertia, giving you ultimate control over ultra-light lures.
• Magsealed Protection Magnetic oil technology halts the intrusion of water and salt particles, preserving the silky-smooth gear rotation.
• ATD Type-L Drag Delivers ultra-smooth start-up drag tension that minimizes line breakages when fishing with thin finesse braids and leaders.
• Tough Digigear Provides maximum gear strength and efficiency for reliable cranking power under heavy load.
• Finesse Custom (FC) Specifically engineered with downsized components and an ultra-light handle for perfect balance on light game rods.
