Rod: Atomic – Flickz Spin Heavy, 6’10, 2 pc, 15 – 32lb

The Atomic Flickz Spin Heavy is a 6’10” two-piece spinning rod rated for 1532lb, purpose-built for working soft plastics. Its heavy power rating handles larger lures and hard-fighting fish, while the length delivers strong casting distance and lure control. The two-piece design makes it easy to transport without sacrificing blank integrity.

Reel: Shimano – 26 NASCI 4000XG

The 2026 Shimano NASCI 4000XG brings serious reel technology to an accessible price point. The XG (Extra High Gear) ratio delivers fast line pick-up ideal for working soft plastics with quick hops and retrieves. The 4000 size strikes the right balance of line capacity and compact weight, making it a natural match for this rod rating.

Line: Atomic – Linez Braid 8X Multi Colour

Atomic Linez 8X Multi Colour braid is an eight-carrier construction delivering high strength, thin diameter, and minimal stretch all critical for feeling soft plastic action and detecting subtle takes. The multi-colour format provides easy depth and distance tracking when casting. Braided line’s sensitivity is a major advantage when jigging and hopping plastics.

These three components are dialled in for softbaiting strong, sensitive, and fast. A great choice for anglers targeting snapper, kingfish, or any species on soft plastics. Add to cart and fish it straight out of the box.
